US Immigration Crisis
I didn’t see an immigration thread so I figured I would add one. This problem seems to be worsening everyday of the current admin. Hopefully some of our new elected officials can help with this. Mr. Luttrell is a great start
The first thing bolded is right. There's a big difference between removals and returns and the vast majority of these cases in the Biden admin were Title 42 "expulsions", which I do not support and never did, but they were denying people entry into the US because of COVID.
eta: I don't think the last sentence is right and I doubt there is very much connection between what a candidate campaigns on and how many people try to cross the border. COVID, jobs, politics and other events in the source

for some people like you that might not matter too much, but for others, deporting a person who has been living years in the USA without creating problems is a lot worse than deporting someone who just entered without a legal claim to enter.

I want to get back to the part where we start locking people who can't behave themselves up and throw away the key.
Go pick those Jan 6th rapists and murderers back up and bring them back to a cell. But also, keep deporting illegals.

Speaking of which, our state’s Board of Education just unanimously passed a proposal that requires parents to prove their citizenship when they enroll their children in school. It goes to the legislature next and then the governor where it will pass and be signed into law.

It does make a big difference. Obviously kidnapping someone and deporting them is a lot worse than turning someone away at the border.

I would predict that they come around and figure out ways to protect the residents from seeing the fruits of Imperialism and fascism. fascists revel in it. liberals make it hidden. the results are the same in the end. well really, the liberal way is more effective.

if no undocumented children are registered then ICE will not show up at the school.

They shouldn't be here illegally. I feel horribly for the children but it's time to take care of this problem.

So you don’t want the bible or the 10 commandments taught but other ideologies are ok ?
no? I am in favor of all legally sanctioned use of state violence for the purpose of protecting the body and property of citizens (one of the main roles of the state).

And if it’s stated in the constitution u don’t agree with its interpretations even it’s been sanctions legally by the Supreme Court .

I've been thinking about how two of the worst deplorables here could only come up the word "criminal" to describe millions of men, women, and children who have come here under the worst possible circumstances in order to have a better life. That's how they view people who's only "crime" is simply to exist here.
Those same deplorables stand up and applaud when 1600 actual criminals serving time get off scot-free.

If you sneak into this country you are a criminal. What is it you don't understand? I can argue that people who rob banks are looking for a better life. They also are criminals.
