Trump 2nd term prediction thread
So, looks like Trump not only smashed the electoral college, but is looking on track to win the popular vote, which seems to be an unexpected turn of events, but a clear sign of the current temperature in the country and perhaps the wider world.
Would be interested to hear views on how his 2nd term will pan out from both sides of the aisle - major happenings, what he's going to get done, what he's not going to get done, the impact of his election on the current conflicts in Ukraine and Gaza, whether his popularity will remain the same, wane, or increase, etc.
A bit of an anemic OP, I know, just interested to hear people's thoughts now that the election uncertainty is over.
What do they think is the next play in the playbook? What would Putin do next if he were in charge?
I'd have to ask them tmw, but essentially right now the goal is to ratchet up the fear index among citizens, both illegal and legal. It's the basic first move of every despot.
When the fear index rises people move into camps of either joining the bully, or going into hiding, unfortunately. Most people are sheep and don't have the courage to stand up to bullies.
But once you have the people afraid, you can accomplish a lot of evil tasks very quickly, and few people will oppose you for fear of retaliation.
so, from a quick skim on the BBC, it would be:
- close down the Dept of Education
- close down or severely change the nature of the FBI
- make all federal organisations become under direct control of president
- fire anyone in the civil service that doesn't have proven loyalty and replace with people with clear loyalties to president
- ban of abortion nationwide

Whats the utopia going to be like?
If they were to speak freely, it would probably have something to do with the Trump family remaining in power indefinitely and liberals rounded up in internment camps to be either retrained or humanely removed from Earth by being set aflame.
Seem the way to go is to be fly to Columbia but in this case it would be to space , help (and monetizing the pie for Elon) by musk to space and be ejected there .
Or Maybe being use like guinea pig for “mars project 2030” if the pay is good enough .

Trump is holding a special joint session of Congress on March 4th which was the original inauguration date until 1933. Hopefully he'll start disclosing some things to the public, or maybe announce the end of the IRS and our new 14% GST.
Actually no, the DS unfortunately is still a major threat to our society, even though Trump is officially back in office. I still think we're going to SD with them at some point, but that's just me.

Secondly, did Biden make it a point to use ICE to go after internal illigal immigrants and raid businesses?
