**** 2023 Season-Long NFL PEEHS! ****
Hello again, football fans!
After TEN outstanding years as the GOAT PEEHS Drehpehs, the founder of our beloved game KrazyKris has decided to call it a career. This game has been so much fun, and brought this community together over the years, that I felt it’d be a shame if it ended here. With Kris’ blessing, I’m taking up the mantle and hosting the game so it continues!
As will quickly become apparent, I’m not Kris. I promise I’m not as creative or funny or thorough with my reveals, and you can FORGET about the yearly stats breakdown! I’ll do my best to get the reveals up in a timely manner, but I work, and it’s a long season through the holidays. On that note, I won’t be available for Thanksgiving, so Rawlz517 has graciously volunteered to step in for a guest reveal. If I need more help with reveals, we’ll play it by ear.
I’ve never played PEEHS before, what is it?
PEEHS is basically a fun, free NFL football futures contest. You make an entry by giving answers to the 25 questions before the season starts, and I reveal the answers once a week as the season goes along. For every question, your answer will either be CORRECT, or INCORRECT.
If your answer is CORRECT, your score for that question will simply be the number of people who selected your same correct answer. If you’re the only person to select your correct answer, that’s an ACE! …and your score for that question is 1.
If your answer is INCORRECT, then your score for that question is the number of people who picked the SHEEP answer (most popular answer), plus the number of different correct answers submitted for that question. The SHEEP (most popular answer) can be either correct or incorrect; all that matters is the number of people who selected the SHEEP.
It’s more important to be CORRECT in all your answers, but also be among the fewest participants that select your correct answers.
Scores add up per question over the season. Lowest score wins.
How do I enter?
Anyone can enter by sending me a single-spaced, non-numbered PM with your answers. Please correctly spell first and last names for player names, and just use mascots for team names.
Since we get questions on this every year...

Ahhhhh. Variance!
For this question, we had 37 correct answers, and 9 incorrect answers.
We'll start with the incorrects first.
The most popular incorrect answer was played by 4 contestants. Riley Patterson played in 15 games, for two different teams. He amassed only 89 points on the season.

Our next most popular incorrect was played by 2 entrants. Graham Gano made 11 of 17 field goals for the Giants, and all 8 extra points he attempted, but was lost to IR earlier in the year.

There were three ace-hunters for this question.
It's a bold play, to take an offensive skill position player, because 110 points is a LOT of touchdowns. Not impossible, but Jonathan Taylor missed a good bit of time this season.
MrsWookie
Our next incorrect is Robbie Gould. He failed to catch on with a team for this season, and officially announced his retirement in December. It was quite an 18-year career for the journeyman kicker, as he hangs it up at 10th on the NFL's all time scoring list (8th in field goals made).

Our final incorrect ace-hunter is our most painful, AND our most consequential. Greg Joseph is the kicker for the Minnesota Vikings, and he came up TWO POINTS short of being correct for this question, with 108! And it knocks the man who picked him, OUT of the tie for the top spot!

...a painful ace, in the race to the bottom of the Anti-Podium! 😆
Our next ace is the Jets' kicker, Greg Zuerlein. He scored 120 points in 2023.
POGcrazy94
Our next ace is Wil Lutz, who moved on from the Saints, to kicking in the thin mountain air in Denver. He scored 119 points.

For our final ace, it's pretty rare for a rookie kicker to make the All Pro team, AND lead the entire NFL in scoring, but that's exactly what the Cowboys' kicker Brandon Aubrey did in 2023! Congrats to mark for the homer pick coming in for the ace, and sorry for your loss tonight.
