New fast food discussion/review thread

OK OOT, it's been a while since we had a devoted fast food thread around here and I think it's time we had a new one.

I like to get the ordinary chips with the warm cheese sauce, except all the cheese stuff is gone before I get 25% through the chips. Do you TB experts know if I can get extra cheese sauce?

Yup. Az covered it above. Just add on in the app.

Their chips are so underrated. I really enjoy the way they’re cooked and the seasoning.

When I enter Taco Bell, I slide a $20 bill across the counter and say "All your cheese sauce cups belong to me".

I only go through the drive through.

Cuppa chez sauce from the Bell costs $.70 in the app. You can also order sour cream ($.50), spicy ranch ($.40) and "red sauce" (free!).

Ouch, that's a lot for those tiny cups. I tried a jar of something I bought at Walmart, but it was not so good. I looked for TB branded stuff, but no luck so far.

TB taco seasoning is great. One packet is good for 5-10 tacos, a little goes a long way.

Made some meximelta. Like a 1:3 taco beef to rosaritas refried beans.

The loaded beef nachos looks amazing

Had these yesterday for 3 bucks and they are well worth it.

Just got this email. Man, I just don't know. While it does sound kinda tasty it also sounds pretty ****ing awful.

Edit: It also made me think for a half a second, "Is today April Fools Day?"

I'd try the shake, maybe...

Peanut butter and bacon are two of the most dominating flavors ever. Putting just one of them on a burger is overkill. Putting both is ****ing stupid.

Would not.

I can not imagine how hungry I would have to be ...

Nope, no way. I know you're a PB fan, mark, but nah.

That's Sonic?

Man I love peanut butter. Good satay dips, all of it in my ice cream. But that looks nasty

That's Sonic?

Yes

appreciate trying to tie thai peanut sauce into a beef sandwich garnished with fried pork
but would advise against it

mostly stoned
but never that stoned

Straight out of the can. No crackers.

Spam
Vienna Sausages
Deviled Ham
Bait fish from a pull top tin

So yeah. Bring on both of those burgers and the shake.

I think I might be calling Earl if I ate a peanut butter bacon sandwich.

I would think a person must be near his own bathroom to think about consuming this?
There's no way someone could attempt this in the middle of a workday.

The shake is the only thing that comes close to a maybe and it's really not that close. Pretty confident in saying I will never have peanut butter on a burger. I had an uncle who would mix peanut butter into his pinto beans then mash them up saying he was mashing the farts out. Never tried that either.

👍

And 10,000 SE points for superb placement immediately after Cowboy's post!

I've got peanut butter in the cupboard and when I make burgers I have NEVER had the urge to put PB on the burgers.

I would like a taste of that shake, but I don't think I'd like it.

I've seen PB offered onna burg, from "higher" end burger spots (LOL Cold Beer n Cheeseburgers, for example) Sonic may be the 1st in FF. Still not doing it. Do think the salty/sweet combo of PB n Bacon isn't the worst idea.

There was a local Hooters type place that had a peanut butter burger

I can see PB and bacon playing well together, but I have no urge to try any of that.

Of course I don't have a Sonic real close by, but even if I did, probably a pass.

I had seen PB/bacon burgers for a while and thought the same as most of this thread, despite liking both. Finally tried it at a quite good sit down casual burger place in Oklahoma City, and really loved it actually. Fast food might be a bridge too far though.

Close enough since you can get takeout, but $200 for applebees date night that ALLOWS TO GO, $30 of food 52 times in a year ordering once every 24 hours.

Seems like a steal (even tho Applebees food sucks)
