The HUD auto-filters by game type. It will not show NLH data in the HUD when playing PLO, and it will not show PLO data in the HUD when you play NLH.

is there a way to add current position to the in game HUD? I can't find the option (so it says CO, BTN etc next to their name)

No. Unfortunately, HM3 does not have any live tracking features at this time. HM2 had them originally but we disabled the 'Live Tracking' feature required to power them many years ago as it was only working on Stars at the time and they no longer allow such a feature. We do have a feature request to add a 'Live Tracking' feature to HM3 to power a positional HUD. If that is eventually developed it could also allow for live pot odds, a 'line taken HUD stat', etc to be developed after that. There is no estimate for if/when this live tracking engine might be coded to power these types of features.

If you want to be notified if/when live tracking is added please send an email via the 'Contact Support' ... and include "Notify Me When HMT-2047 Is Resolved" in the subject line and body of the email.

Does HM3 HUD work on iPoker skin Championpoker?

The latest HM3 beta version 3.1.34.9903 should work on all iPoker skins that write local hand history files for HM3 to auto-import while playing. If you have that version of HM3 installed and the HUD is not working at your iPoker skin please see our HUD Troubleshooting Guide.

Hello. I'm trying to send 33k hands to a friend. Right click all the hands >> export>>> error message saying 'hm3 cannnot create or open databases from a folder that is being synced by OneDrive,Google Drive...........similar cloud based services.

Not sure what i'm supposed to do to fix this.

In HM2 I used to just create a folder and then zip it and send via email

Windows put your "MyDocuments" and "Desktop' folders on OneDrive. Please disable that in the OneDrive settings. You can read more about this OneDrive option here: https://support.office.com/en-us/article...

or:

- Close your poker clients, close HM3 and right-click - 'Exit' the HM3 Server icon in the Windows Notification Tray and rename the database file - C:\Users{UserName}\Documents\Holdem Manager 3\Databases{DatabaseName}.hmdb - to a different name.
- Please create a new folder on your computer such as C:\HM3Files using Windows File Explorer and move your 'MyHM3Database' file from your \Documents folder to the new C:\HM3Files folder.
- When you start HM3 again it will start the setup wizard and you will want to open the existing database in the new 'C:\HM3Files' folder using the 'Advanced Install' option in the setup wizard.

Once the database is moved you should be able to export even if you did not disable OneDrive.

Note: Maintaining more than 20% free space on your system drive is recommended. Please see this FAQ to clear up some more free space.

Is there a reason why many times when I open HEM3, I get an error message of not like enough resources to load? It happens a few times in a row and then it works. Sometime it doesn't show up.

I did not renew my HEM3 subscription for a while but does that have anything to do with it? Does it actually cost more money now to renew HEM3 if you let your subscription expire over a year or something like that? I think mine expire over a year ago.

Did HEM3 fix the recording reentries and add ons and everything correctly on stars? As I'm using an old version of HEM3, it doesn't record total net win or loss correctly since the rebuys are almost always recorded incorrectly. Example, a $22 buying if you do 1 rebuy, for some reason show $12 as the rebuy. Certain tournaments would show strange rebuy amounts when it isn't possible and I even had this issue a while back when I had an active subscription of HEM3. So did the latest HEM3 version fix all this? Does it include recording bounties correctly like mystery bounty on stars? What about on 888? Thanks.

No, that should not have anything to do with your error mentioned above.

The total cost also includes payment for the time that has passed since the subscription expired, in addition to the Support & Maintenance and HM3 updates for another year. Skipped Support and Maintenance fees are applicable and calculated by the system based on the number of days elapsed. The fee gradually increases from the date of expiration until the standard Support and Maintenance price is reached. Eventually, the full amount will be charged.

This, is going to be something that is affected by your expired Support & Maintenance (S/M) plan in a way, as it also affects our current HM3 version 3.1.35.0 and will require an update for all users with a valid Support & Maintenance (S/M) plan once it is fixed.

Unfortunately, we have a known issue currently where HM3 is unable to properly detect the tournament results when playing live even if you are auto-importing both the hands and the summary files.

We have thoroughly documented this issue and provided it to the developers for resolution. The changes to fix this problem will be available in the next gold beta release. Although we don't have an exact date for the release, you will receive a notification to update as long as you have enabled the 'Check for Updates' and 'Prompt for beta updates' options under Tools - Settings - General. In the meantime, we suggest you try manually 'force reimporting' the hands and summary files after each session to trigger the manual tournament detection. To do this:
- Enable 'Allow reimport of hand histories' under HM3 - Tools - Settings - Import.
- Reimport recent files from C:\HM3Archive using the HM3 - File - Import Folder/Files options.

This is a constant issue and I'm hoping there's a fix for. A lot of pots-particularly multiway ones-cause issues with the all in EV number.

the below images show what I'm talking about. I got AT in vs QT preflop. I lost. The BB number is correct, but the all in adjusted number says 0, which is clearly incorrect. How do I fix that?

Were there any short-stack players also involved in the hand that you cropped out of that image?

HM3 uses the same equity code as PT4 now which is more accurate and less biased than the code we used for equity in HM2. In a hand where a player is all-in but other players are not, net adjusted results are not calculated. When one player is all-in preflop and other players are not, they usually have the option to act post-flop, which means that sometimes one of them will fold. Having the option to fold* after another street is dealt means that in the long run there will be more strong hands that get to showdown and less weak hands. If we were to calculate net adjusted results in hands like this it would introduce a systematic bias (because there will be more known strong hands) so we exclude all hands like this from net adjusted calculations. You can read more about this here.

*Note: Attempting to calculate adjusted results when unknown but folded cards already called the all-in also introduces a bias into the results so HM3 does not make these calculations in any situation where a player calls the all-in and later folds (even if it's on the same street).

We have hero fold IP on turn after check-check flop but not OOP why ?

It sounds as if you are looking for our 'Turn Fold To Delayed CBet" stat and set it to OOP in the HM3 HUD Editor's 'Item Properties' 'has Position' filter.

Hi Fozzy. When I open HM3 it'll work fine for a while. However, it will often freeze up and I have to ctrl alt delete>> end task HM3 to close the program and then restart it again. Any tips on how to remedy this? It happens most often if the program has been open for a couple hours but has been idle and then I go to look at some hand it'll just freeze up on me

As a PFR, you will want to use the "Skip Flop CBet and Check-Fold" stat. Currently we have SRP and 3BP variants available.

This is for the FLOP. We want turn stat. its not that

We want flop X-X + X-F

According to our QA/Testing Manager:

- Skip Delayed Turn CBet = Percent of time player checks on both flop and turn when they had a chance to continuation bet

This issue has been documented in detail and provided to the developers to resolve.

HMT-6939: HM3 UI is unresponsive after waking from a long sleep

If you want to be notified when this issue is resolved, please email via the 'Contact Support' link - https://support.holdemmanager.com/ - and include "Notify Me When HMT-6939 Is Resolved" in the subject line and body of the email.

Unfortunately, the only solution for this currently is to extend or disable your Windows sleep time setting or make sure that you manually close your poker clients and the HM3 Client and Server between poker sessions.

Close your poker clients, close HM3, and right-click - 'Exit' the HM3 Server icon in the Windows Notification Tray.

**Note: By default, the HM3 Server will not close when you close the HM3 client. You must right-click and 'Exit' the HM3 Server icon from the Windows System Tray. This is so you can still import hands and use the HUD even if the software is closed. When HM3 and the server are both closed you can get HM3 to this state using the 'HM3 HUD Only' desktop or start menu shortcut. If you want the import server to close when you close the main HM3 window you have to disable your Tools - Settings - General option to [ ] 'Keep HM3 running in HUD only mode upon exit'.

Having either a user, hh format, or hm3 error.

All hh are from CoinPoker.

When I use the Position Report without filters, I get reasonable numbers for WTSD and RFI.

I then try to apply Hole Card Filters (Omaha) made via the Filter Editors. However, these filters seem to only grab hands that go to showdown. 1 and 2 The RFI numbers are also unreasonably high.

The above two examples were using the following filters:

A final wrinkle is the hands displayed for e.g. Filter 1 above clearly aren't correct. If I grab a random BTN hand where I supposedly have 100% RFI I immediately get a hand where I didn't ....

I am very confused, please help me figure out what is wrong.

Currently, we do not have the requested statistics available. We are in the process of overhauling our statistics engine to include more comprehensive multi-street 'line' statistics in an upcoming update. However, this is a significant undertaking that will require considerable development time before it can enter the beta testing phase.
