AM YISRAEL CHAI.
[QUOTE=Crossnerd]
I'm not agnostic about the plight of the American Indians. I'll never forget reading the words "Indian Removal Act" in my middle school history book. I definitely paid attention that day. American Indians deserve reparations including land.
I am sure in 100 years there will be an Israeli leftist will read a propaganda book about 1948, it will touch them deeply, and they will say Palestinians deserve reparations and land. And then they will start moralizing about some conflict 10,000 miles away they are mostly clueless about, outraged that their government is tangentially linked to whatever is going on.
I mean, instead of vacuous moralizing from thousands of miles away, if you are really that passionate you could go to Israel and be a peace activist that actually tries to make things better, instead of just cheerleading nihilism, death and destruction.
Of course these were the very people Hamas targeted in their massacre on 10/7, so there is that.

I wouldn't be too sure. I understand your depraved plan which is to kill and displace millions of people in service of ethnic cleansing and ethnic supremacy. Then, when it's over, proclaim the past is the past. One difference between what America did to the Indians and the ongoing genocide of Palestinians is that people were not so aware of what was happening and the permanence of it over time. Things might not have looked so much like ethnic cleansing to those involved on either side. Had they known what was going to happen they likely would have fought a lot harder. There also weren't international institutions which explicitly forbid the actions Israel is undertaking, as well as any aid or support for those actions. Those institutions might be failing humanity at the moment, but there mere existence and risk of those institutions being made useful again through force of popular will is not something American settlers had to worry about. Americans had the ultimate weapon, not to mention - disease. Most Indians were killed by disease. I'd rather be a freedom fighter going drone against drone with Israel than facing smallpox with no immunity. I mean, a few good strikes on civilian areas and those European occupiers are going to realize the time is up on their desert dweller cosplay adventure. It's been reported half a million Israelis have already fled and the majority with no plans to return.
And it's pretty hard to be clueless about something so simple. Though I will admit it took me some years with the issue to realize how simple it really is and that the complication of the issue is itself just another propaganda technique. But the younger kids seemed to have got straight to the heart of the matter so you might as well drop the whole "you don't understand this complex subject" routine. Even people who don't know the history and the betrayals and the battles and the alliances and the conniving...even they understand what is going on as well as any M.E. scholar.
no matter what you think has happened and is happening in Gaza, I know you aren't completely gone so I don't believe you believe more people died there than in the Holocaust, which happened less than 100 years ago.
nevermind many other genocides like the Holodomor, Khmer rouge in Cambodia, the Rwandan genocide and so on.
so why do you post such a blatant monstrosity of a tweet?
I read that as the worst genocide in a century against Palestinians.
How did you read it?
Micro spotting!
A massive compendium of Gaza war crimes gathered from IDF soldier postings on social media.
something big just happened, idk what but the markts are going mental
some people had hopes that the Lebanese military would patrol and control South of the Litani. not looking good for that anymore.

How did you read it?
Dunno how the author intended it, but she edited it to say
"Those who today are holding their heads in despair over the attacks from Iran but have remained silent with the ongoing genocide against Palestine at the hands of Israel are the epitome of hypocrisy. The one responsible for this entire escalation has a name: the USA."
This **** hes eben goingon for 80000 years
Wiat's so differente noww.??

Antisemitism in Los Angeles has come up in this thread a few times. Here's an update:

The most I can concede to that idea is that the Zionist colonization project predates the Holocaust. Still, Israel is too late to the barbarism party. They can say they arrived before the Germans crashed that party and it got too weird and cringe. But sorry all the booze are gone, all the drugs are smoked, there are blunt roaches in the dip, paramedics are carrying out the overdosed, and the DJ has left the building. Even Satan was like man this is dead I'm out.
Jewish people lived in Palestine and were accepted. It's only when Zionists started piling in and recruiting the West to help them takeover that things got messed up. And still today that is the core of the problem - Zionist ethnic supremacy. It's not 2 siblings squabbling over who gets the front seat. It's one group of people attempting to ethnically cleanse another group of people from the place they have been for centuries.
Well when Jews tried to escape the holocaust by coming to the Middle East they were mostly turned away. So probably before the holocaust and after the holocaust are two different projects. We can’t just pretend that events happening in the world don’t change anything.

There was almost no one in Gaza for centuries, it was barren land
I guess that depends on what you mean by "almost no one", but when are you talking about?
Seems to have a pretty continuous history of settlement going back a long time.
oh and in other news, I guess Smotrich basically said that Israel killed Raisi. now, I gotta say if you are going to illegally assassinate a diplomat and leader then its a lot better to do it with a helicopter crash rather than murdering like 500 civilians with 85 2k pound bombs.
Also, the vast majority of the international community have voted numerous times for an immediate ceasefire. And correct me if I’m wrong but public opinion of Israel has fallen basically everywhere. I would say the global consensus leans towards Israel having a right to self defense but not like this.
reject the premise that they are defending themselves.
Using oil tankers as shields, devious.
I have no clue what you two are saying.
