In fairness to the argument HTS has an ideology of "moderate Jihad," none of these women are wearing hijab, which you wouldn't see under IRI (Iran govt), ISIS or Taliban. And even when a reporter had a head covering to interview the leader a couple days ago, you can still see most of her hair.

People like you said things like this when Israel made peace with Egypt and Jordan as well. And both have remained strong allies (if i ignore that the Egyptian government likely allowed the weapon smuggling through the tunnels)

Trump (and Gabbard) have commented they dont want to get involved in Syria. It seems Trump's motto for the ME is if you leave Israel and US oil interests alone, we will leave you alone.
Of course this is bad news for groups like IRI, Hezbollah and Hamas; whose entire ideology is centered on removing Israel and the US from the region. So if they give up this, there isn't a lot of justification for them being around, as they mostly suck and offer nothing except these goals.
This could also be bad for Rojava/Kurds; whose ideology is most aligned with western liberalism and are propped up by the US. Of course, no one would be surprised in the slightest if Trump handed Kurds/Rojava to the Islamist wolves.
