The only reasonable use for "far left" is in the context of the nation median. Something like having 75% (or 90%) of the population on your right.
That clearly qualifies a decent number of democrats, same as it qualifies as far right a decent number of republicans.
Approximately 1/3 of adults are democrats, 1/3 republican, 1/3 are independent (who lean a tad to the right overall).
So already being a democrats , even the most moderate one, puts you on the left of 66% of the population if you are the most moderate one. So half the democrats have a supermajority of the population on their right.
Now you have 98-99% of the population on your right so you feel people who "only" have 78% or 84% of the population on their right are far from you. That can be true. Still you are both radical leftists.
Being in favor of healthcare for illegals is being Far Left, same as being against abortion with few (or no) exceptions is being Far Right.

I've been watching Stewart more lately. Love the guy. He should run imo. Knows the issues, smart, doesn't take crap. He won't, though.
But he's really been railing on the dems for being wishy-washy and unorganized, and almost giving up. And, he just doesn't think there's a capable leader in the party right now. He might be right.
He really doesn't care for Schumer.

The DOGE is uncovering unbelievable amounts of Democratic corruption. Trump is ending wars in the Middle East and Ukraine. People are getting the chance to remember what common sense looks like. I truly don't think there will be another Democrat in the White House in any of our lifetimes. People want to get back to good moral values.

You're just responding to re-posts of social media takes. That isn't to take away from the human medium in between, could be a nice person for all I know. Reasons like this is why the Dems got blown out this year - they spent time focusing on trans rights, tampons in mens bathrooms, and drag queens reading books to children, and lost touch with the core of the middle class. The fact that Democrats got “blown out” because they were fighting against hate isn’t a reason to stop fighting against hate.
If a trans woman destroys other females after she was born in the wrong body, she should be admired and praised for her courage in standing up for what’s right, not despised and denied the opportunity to compete. But people want to be sore losers because they lost to a trans woman.
And let’s face it, misogyny is a HUGE reason Kamala lost. As Greg Popovich said, she has eaten many of his type for lunch as an attorney general and as a prosecutor. He is a small fry compared to some of the people he has gone after. Kamala Harris whipped Trumps’ ass during the debate and he just ran from her ever since.
46 out of 47 presidents in the country have been white men. 0 out of 47 have been women. We could have started to make real progress in this country if we had 8 years of Obama followed by 8 years of Hillary followed by 8 years of Kamala. But instead after Obama we got Trump, a white man followed by Biden, a white man (although to be fair at least Biden gave us a Black female as a VP and put one on the Supreme Court), and Trump, a white man likely to be followed by another white man.
How is that progress? Is this the year 2025 or 1825?
