President Donald Trump
I assume it's still acceptable to have a Trump thread in a Politics forum?
So this is an obvious lie - basically aimed at
there is the option of treating the biggest ones as monopolies which wouldn't be absurd.
if they are monopolies you can diminish/eliminate their censorship powers.
wouldn't apply to reddit though, especially to specific subreddit censorship choices.
or in the USA there is section 230, you can decide it only applies to platforms that don't censor content which is legal in their jurisdictions. that would be only fair, as censorship is a form of curation and once you curate content, the idea you are n
should not libertarian be against government intervention that break monopolies ?
if free market created monopolies so be it ?
anyway , you believe concentration of wealth isnt a problem anyway so i dont see how you would be against monopolies...

I am listing actual possible solutions, i haven't said which i prefer or even if i consider social media to be a problem that has to be solved by politics.
Do you realize the difference that exists between saying something would achieve X, and saying you endorse doing that something to achieve X?
Maybe next time I don't understand something I'll just fill in the blanks with my own words, looks like it works for you.
Lucy seems real mad today, more than usual.
Spoiler
Muah!
When asked by a reporter if he had been briefed on the situation that began to unfurl hours before, the president replied, “No, I haven’t.”

The wording in the bar graph is a bit ambiguous, and I can see how it could be interpreted in the way Luciom understood it.
But the wording in the number chart is clearly referring to the entry of new immigrants. Immigrants only "move to our country" once, after that they stay in our country.
No "functionally literate" native speaker of English could interpret that in a different way, and the quote marks strongly imply that the actual question was worded that way".
That being said, I suppose th
I agree for the most part, but I think it would be an easy mistake to make. I don't always interpret data correctly either.
They are dead I saw that last night as it scrolled on the bottom of our National News .
lol Trump's threats if Canada and Europe develop trade deals.
He really wants to put your economy in the ground. Impressive.
I thought Republicans were going to drain the swamp, out the corruption, fix the government.
Not become the swamp, become dirtier, and justify it with a bunch of whataboutism nonsense
(I know we all knew this is exactly what would happen, just pointing it out to the Trump voters who said we were all TDS for making incredibly accurate predictions)
This is probably a bigger problem than most people are understanding imho. A good watch for those not familiar w/ professor Stanley.
Trump's America has started to challenge and redefine academic freedom, and Yale Professor Jason Stanley is sounding the alarm. He is the author of "Erasing History: How Fascists Rewrite the Past to Control the Future." Stanley joins the show to discuss how new teaching guidelines are stoking a culture of fear, and why he's taking drastic measures as a result.

Ty.... I did exactly that, which is odd. It even had your same tag. Any ways... ty. Fixed mine.

I edited yours. You had the wrong tag
I could track down at least 10 different people telling me I was crazy or wrong for predicting the corruption of the DoE
It was one of the things I was most passionate about and vehemently against

Ty... I've posted YT videos many times. What did I do wrong? I tried 2 different tags, the direct link and shareable one.
Yeah, the professors who know this all too well, are already leaving. Fascist regimes always target the universities, law firms, and media first, because they are the biggest obstacles to their takeover.
Timothy Snyder has also left Yale to go to Canada.

I got my degree in philosophy, and even in the best of environments, it's difficult for professors to teach w/o politics and lawsuits. Now you add in vague language, where any professor can be attacked and prosecuted... it's a nightmare for these guys.
In before accusations of TDS, that just ring hollower and hollower and hollower

There’s going to have to be a complete reimplementation of ethics offices in federal agencies by the next administration. The self dealing and ability to approve contracts where you are get a cut is crazy.

Just the bit after the =
Yup... I've always done that. After the =. I guess somehow I had the wrong one, but like I said I tried both. Is it the URL or the one you get from clicking share?
Nm, it's from the URL. So strange... that's what I did first and then tried the share one. Neither worked. ty

The Republican party of the working class? You must be joking.
The U.S. Senate voted Thursday on a Republican-backed measure to overturn a Biden-era rule that would cap bank overdraft fees at $5 later this year.
This sht is funny... I guess they are prepping us the for technocratic takeover where AI will govern.
Pete Hegseth likely used ChatGPT in his leaked war plan text:

The white house is calling the whole thing a hoax. They aren't even trying anymore.
