He doesn't gaf about innocents being slaughtered, he constantly stanned for Russia in the Ukraine thread and stated Hamas were fully justified using actual refugee camps to launch rockets from. What do you think the response from the IDF would be to attacks from refugee camps? Who do you think will also suffer, apart from the Hamas members? Victor does not care about civilians

There's no reason to think he doesn't care, even if hating the West is what got him here. People are being slaughtered. It's right to be appalled and hurt by that. And this post is you vilifying someone who cares because he makes it so clear that you don't.

He said Hamas were perfectly justified using refugee camps to launch attacks from. So yeah, there is indeed a reason to know, as opposed to think he doesn't care, as he clearly doesn't care about Hamas using civilians in refugee camps as human shields, so clearly doesn't care if any get killed in a counter strike. You're not thick. Why do you need this spelled out for you as if you are in fact thick, when I happen to know you're not, even if I disagree with you on pretty much everything?

by Victor

the Russian strike at least targeted a bunch of soldiers. the West just straight up bombs hospitals and civilian workers.

anyway, when I compare Russia to the West, thats not mean to be favorable to Putin.

Russian ballistic missiles ripped through the busy center of Ukraine’s northeastern city of Sumy on Sunday, officials said, killing at least 35 people and striking terror into residents who were out enjoying Palm Sunday and attending morning church services.

It was the deadliest attack of the conflict this year. Two children were among the scores of people killed in the strikes on the city’s center, while 117 people were wounded, according to Ukraine’s State Emergency Service.

Except it is true. Vic has done nothing but regurgitate Kremlin propaganda and made pro Putin's Russia arguments in the Ukraine thread. That's ****ing cheering Putin.

Maybe he's wrong about some things in the Ukraine thread or maybe you are. Either way, it most certainly doesn't mean he doesn't care about people getting slaughtered in Palestine or Lebanon. He can be very attached to a side and care about the people on it. Like ldo.

If you want to say you're ok with Palestinians being killed, just say that. It's not impossible to not be ok with it.

Uh, you're thick.

What he says is something along the lines of people being attacked have a right to fight back and something like not criticizing the way they do it.

You can think this analogy is good or bad and that's not relevant here, the point is whether Victor thinks this analogy is good because it's about his state of mind:

If you support Jews in the Warsaw ghetto attacking Nazis, does that mean you don't care about Jews?

No you. You actually are thick, coming out with such bollix.

As in this bollix^^
You cannot profess to care about civilians if you're not gonna criticise Hamas for using them as human shields and not only that but justifying it on the grounds of "resistance by any means necessary", which is how he justified it in the first place. So again you're thick, and my apologies for initially overestimating your intelligence.

Dun,

A lot of people's opinions that you would characterize as pro-Putin are a lot like your or mongis opinions on Israel/Palestine. They suggest that Ukraine is ultimately going to lose and the sooner they surrender, the better off they will be. Others would say the Russians are genocidal and Ukrainian surrender would be suicide.

Eventually some sort of detente will be reached. And if the world spends the next 80 years subsidizing millions of Ukrainian "refugees" living right on the border of contested territory, subsidizing complete anti-Russian fanaticism in their society, facilitating complete militarization of their society, threaten Russia with thousands of rockets they periodically fire into Russia, that vow generationally to take back the land; and Russia is told by the rest of the world to just live with this status quo indefinitely:

--I will definitely argue neither Ukranians or Russians are being served by such a status quo.

Jews were ethnically cleansed from Poland and Germany only a few years before the Nakba. No one would argue the rest of the world should have put them in a refugee camp on the border of Poland or Germany, completely militarized their society, periodically attack Germany/Poland, and spend the next 80 years vowing to reconquer whatever land they lost.

The problem is the ridiculous length of time this has been going on. And how the world has facilitated such a ridiculous status quo.

You are missing the point, intentionally or not. The question was about Victor's thinking, not your analysis of the situation.

Ok, it's just impossible to have a discussion that is even the tiniest bit complex on this forum.

right. rather the White Empire put them in a highly militarized ethnosupremacist vassal state thousands of miles away and gave them nukes and carte blanche to do genocide on the natives. way better!

I gave my assessment of Victor's thinking. Lizard brain tribalism, extreme dehumanization of the "other." No first principles at all.

by Victor

hmm, sound familiar?

Perhaps the Russians are copying Israel's messaging technique in the hope that it has the same anaesthetic effect on the Americans.

in which a Clash of Civilizations psychopath is criticizing other people for "tribalism"

Hannibal doctrine

earlier this month, after Israel announced they would embark on extensive bombing, Hamas said that they would not move the POWs this time. looks like this is the end result.

this was the same bombing campaign where the Israeli citizens in Sderot rejoiced in the screams coming from Gaza (I posted the screenshot of one such enjoyer).

I read a good line today.

Saying it's anti-Semitic to oppose genocide is like saying it's anti-Catholic to oppose pedophilia.

The "joke" is that Catholics are pedophiles and Jews are murderers?

In other news, ceasefire negotiations are at a standstill; with the main impediment being Israel insisting Hamas disarm, and Hamas refusing to.

weird bc I thought this was the case

by Dunyain

Israel media is reporting Hamas is close to accepting a deal of 21 Israeli hostages (11 still alive) for 3,000 Palestinian prisoners. It is widely believed this deal is only possible because of the tremendous military toll Israel's current actions in Gaza are taking on Hamas. I know the prevailing narrative is that violence will get Israel nowhere, and that it can only solve

and, its almost certainly now 20 or fewer "hostages" (actually POWs) bc Israel was very likely successful in assassinating the American guy.

Looks like Israeli media may have been overly optimistic in its assessment a couple days ago.

Nah I'm not wrong for opposing Putin's aggressive invasion. Vic is indeed wrong for spewing Kremlin propaganda and trying to make out Ukraine is really at fault for getting invaded.

Your initial post was from "gaza notifications" aka trust me bro.

Anyway, how pray tell were the paramedics "executed"? Were they lined up and shot, one behind the ear each? Hung, perhaps? Any more details from your totally reliable sources to justify the execution claim?

do you ever get tired of being wrong about everything?

You said "executed". Still not seeing that.

probably just accidentally shot in the head

probably just accidentally shot in the head

It's possible they mistakenly took them as Hamas fighters, which wouldn't equate to execution. I'm not saying I presently buy into this to clarify, and have already given my current thoughts on the matter earlier, but point being, other possibilities remain, which belies your claim. Yet again for the nth time, you need to tone down the hyperbole a few million levels, if you wish to be taken seriously.
