I never claimed they are "good guys" or that they are doing enough to try to get rid of Trump. I would be a fan of anyone who could get rid of Donald Trump.
Now you're talking about Bernie Sanders, which is a completely different topic, but I have always thought it was ridiculous when people complained that the Democratic Party tried to thwart his run for president. Of course they did, because HE WAS NOT A MEMBER OF THEIR PARTY!! It's ridiculous that he was even allowed to run in the Democratic Primaries, and I have no idea how that was even possible, but if anything they did him a favor by even having his name on ballots.

If "establishment Democrats" aren't literally GOP plants, they effectively are. The establishment battles any changes that might benefit them from within. We've seen this over and over again. Bernie Sanders was the decent candidate who "slipped through". He lives in a rare state (Vermont) with no dominant industry players controlling the establishment.
The historical version of pro-Labor Democrats who descended from FDR and dominated through the 60's were undone by selfish Boomers.
When the Boomers were finished benefitting from the well endowed public sector which gave them a great cheap primary education, they entered the workforce and decided they didn't want to pay taxes to allow future generations the same benefits they had received.

As chief executive of the city of Burlington, Vermont he did a fantastic job. In the Senate he has crafted more successful amendments to legislation than any Senator in the history of the institution.

In later voyages he brought some and yes he killed a bunch of natives on "Hispaniola", and was a petty tyrant (of the colony) for a couple of years, to the point he was arrested in 1500 lol (he mistreated the Spanish ppl there).
