I also had a thought on how I want to approach Puppy 3 and Puppy 4.
The first 75% will be heavily based on player takes. Doing a lot more reaching. Building teams around a core group of guys. Then I'll follow ADP a bit more during the final 25%, and take a little medicine on the players I'm not too fond of.

I've had 3 1.01 or 1.02 starts recently. Definitely have to mix it up some.

I’ve been doing lots of pull from the 3/4 turn of guys who basically never make it to the 4/5. Give me a good Gibbs/Zay/Tee start.

Also been attacking Rice, since he’s probably going to be mostly unavailable at the 2/3 eventually.
A few of my remaining slow SF teams I'm working on. My last 10 SF are all going to be 2QB teams just to get some extra exposure to that construction.

I almost added Kraft over Kyle in the last one to get the Packers Mega, but felt RB was more important there.

I have already won Gibbs and Love and am very likely going to win Lamar, Maye, and JSN, the problem is if I win that I’ll have $216 left of my $1K budget with only 5 players

I haven't been keeping up, but going off looks alone, I'd say winner will either be top left or top right.
Top Middle - looks too sleazy. Get a job selling used cars.
Bottom Middle - Looks too young. Get some more experience and try again in a few years.
Bottom Right - Looks too nerdy. We don't need another sim bro.

And pretty decent read on the remaining touts. Top left has by far the most streaming experience and is a regular on a few channels. Top middle is actually some type of Survivor streaming host already, but his ball knowledge is questionable. He has a great camera presence, though probably talks too much at times. The bottom 3 are kind of bland and boring.
I’d say top left or top middle are the favorites. I guess top right has a chance, but his personality is a bit off putting to me.
And good luck on the draft, Jimmy. Sounds like you might have some trading in your future haha. I’d say losing out on Lamar is most ideal. When going for the studs backfires.

That's the lowest I've seen him go since pre-signing. People are worried about Kamara, and I just don't get it. Etienne is likely to be similar efficiency as in Jax, but the Saints didn't pay Etienne for him to be coming off of the field for washed Kamara. He's going to get tons of volume on an offense we all expect to be better . The coaches seem like they don't even want Kamara.
This Puppy 2 start is pretty fun. We'll see if I can land it.

Just finished a draft similar to the one you described - dynasty start up, best ball matchups each week, 1k auction budget, 12 starters, 13 bench, superflex, 2 TE, 6 pt pass TD.
The only differences I see is mine is a 14 team league & TEs get 2 PPR
The 4 guys you mentioned went for 779 of 1k to different teams, but I think having an extra 2k chasing the same players makes a big difference.
I was surprised that the top 14 QBs in my draft avg. $200. Qbs 17-27 avg 116 (i got 3 in this range).
One team spent all their money on 11 players and another spent it all on 16 guys. Guy with 11 will be starting a guy off waivers in his flex and since it is best ball he better hope nobody gets hurt, the NFL cancels all byes and none of his guys have a down game all year... he also traded away his 2nd & 4th next year so he has less draft capital than most to rebuild.
Yeah that’s tough in best ball to only have 11, mine is 2ppr for te as well
My thought was since its best ball, guys like Jayden Reed actually have value and the hope is they can be scooped for cheap
The part that I don’t know how to value at all is 27 picks rd 1-2-3 are all biddable packaged in the form of a kicker. They’ve been going for 110-120 and it’s seems somewhat high given I got Love for low 130s

Interesting, we kept all of our '27 picks. However, pre-draft and early in the draft there were quite a few trades for 1st and I believe they were going for around $100-$110 and mid draft someone traded their '27 and '28 1sts for a total of $100. I traded my first for $105 + a 3rd pre-draft.
The 4 you got went for 212, 215, 181 & 171 (same order) so between 20-30% higher than what you got them for which makes a little sense since their are 2 extra teams and therefore 2k extra in draft budget sloshing around.

I was most surprised by how little non-elite TEs went for. I could have gotten all 5 TEs between Te 10-14 for the price of one of the top 4 TE.
