Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of Jan

That's sad. I really hope for fantasy comeback

Just got him in the 5th in an Elim

I don’t think you should draft him there in that contest

Not the best build out, but I’m ok with it. Debated Noel vs Geno with the last pick, ran out of time and got Geno, probably not a big difference one way or the other

Aiyuk is an idiot, he’s not going to play again. Annoyed I took 7-8% but at least it wasn’t more haha

Yeah, feels like it might finally be over for him. I'm also in the same exposure range but haven't clicked him in the last week or two. Probably cool riding with what I have and not clicking him again unless something substantial changes. Especially since he will probably go mostly undrafted in new contests.

ESPN years behind again and trying to rebrand guillotine as knockout lol. Maybe they'll add a dynasty option one day.

By that logic, you should be off of ARSB too. No way he keeps putting up these monster seasons on high efficiency and volume since he's done it before. JSN could lose 400 yards of production from last season and still match ARSB from last year. I have no qualms with planting flags, especially on lower draft volume. But you continue to post with faulty logic and instincts no

We had a similar argument last year when you thought Marvin Mims was a good pick in the tenth round. In order to be competitive in fantasy football you can’t just go with the data. That just keeps you doing what everyone else is doing. You have to trust your gut. I don’t know how many times I listened to the “smart data guy’s” instead of going with my instincts. That’s why I’m staying away from the echo chamber POD’s and YouTube videos this year. All the hardcore BB bros get their info from the same shows and then they wonder why they don’t separate from the pack.

I think people who take JSN in the top half of the draft are going to be disappointed this year.

Lmao, the Marvin Mims debate was not close to the same as debating JSN versus ARSB.

I've never liked Mims the player, but yes, I said given his spike week upside and given that we literally just saw him win contests in week 17 of 2024, that he was a fine best ball pick at WR60 or whatever it was. I was still underweight.

You said things like the below. All you do is hedge, hedge, hedge, so eventually you can say that you were right. If Mims fails, you get to say that you said he was a horrible pick. If he succeeds, you get to say you knew he would be come a star and that he would take a big leap.

I think Mims becomes a star this year.

I think Mims is a horrible pick when you can get Franklin usually in the 17th. I don't think it's an accident that Mims never got the playing time people expected. He is super explosive and might take a big leap this year. I don't think he is built to get a lot of targets. I have a feeling Troy is gonna be more of the man.

Mims is a bad pick because he goes in the 10th and Franklin now goes in the 17th. I think Franklin will have a better year. I think Mims will be good too. Give me the bargain ascending 17th rounder..

Your darlings Bryant and Franklin weren't exactly great picks, either. At least Franklin had a few spike weeks.

Let us know when you win something with your great gut and intuition.

What if you need all of the year 2 backs?

Works for me!

The Marathon?

That looks good. Nice value on Love. He's my least drafted QB in that entire round 9-11 range, but I'd like him a lot at the 11/12 turn.

The Marathon?
.

yep

Nice. I skipped the contests UD released last week for some burnout mental health purposes lol. I'm down to 68 UD slows and 17 DK slow. Gearing up for the next Puppy!

I've only done a few Marathons. Might get to 5, but also slowing down in anticipation of the next Puppy.

Drafted my first eliminator. Not my favorite team

Week 10 and 11 going to be tough if you make it.

Haha yeah maybe I’ll get lucky and face a dead team that week. Will be happy to make it that far though

150 point to 1 place)
200.000 is my place

Good luck, maybe someone play too world cup 2026

Doesn’t it make more sense to wait until training camp starts to draft an Eliminator?

Well, Heels. Do you want to win $100k or $200k?

I’d like to win $200k, but I also only care about slows. So I guess that’s what I’ll be playing. It should fill more slowly (pun intended) too.

Glad to see the old Puppy format back. And the slow finals at 188 is pretty nice.

I’m surprised they brought back the fast/slow combo. They didn’t do it last year.

DK. Pick 11

My most interesting team so far. I went heavy RB to start. I probably should have gone WR where I took Tuten but I couldnÂ’t resist the value. I was considering stopping at 4 but Jonah Coleman fell 12 picks past ADP. I think I did alright at WR. I like QJ a lot more than consensus.

TE is sus. It was between an 8th WR and a 4th TE for me. I like Horton a lot and the TEÂ’s had dried up.

I actually love my QB situation given that I waited. I love getting Willis as my number two. I didnÂ’t intend on taking 4 QBÂ’s but Geno fell two rounds past ADP. I think he has a bounce back year. I had Breece/Sadiq.

QB) Nix, Willis, Rogers, Geno

RB) Taylor, Barkley, Breece, Tuten, Coleman

WR) Egbuka, Odunze, Q Johnson, Pittman, Doubs, Hunter, Coleman, Horton

TE) Fanning, Sadiq, Engram.
