In other news
In the current news climate we see that some figures and events tend to dominate the front-pages heavily. Still, there are important, interesting or just plain weird things happening out there and a group of people can find these better than one.
I thought I would test with a thread for linking general news articles about "other news" and discussion. Perhaps it goes into the abyss that is page 2 and beyond, but it is worth a try.
Some guidelines:
- Try to find the "clean link", so that links to the news site directly and not a social media site. Avoid "amp-links" (google).
- Write some cliff notes on what it is about, especially if it is a video.
- It's not an excuse to make outlandish claims via proxy or link extremist content.
- If it's an editorial or opinion piece, it is polite to mark it as such.
- Note the language if it is not in English.
- There is no demand that such things be posted here, if you think a piece merits its own thread, then make one.
It was probably more a reaction to Trumps shotgun blast approach of mentioning unproven treatments that then lead to a rise in complications from various self medications
https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PM...
The study didn't suggest injecting alcohol into the body, Trump did. Are you even trying to follow along? This isn't complicated
You need to find better sources, not bureaucratic ones who are all part of the same conglomerate. This is why Musk and his teams were just given security clearances, to clean all this out.
I stopped reading here, since this was totally false.
Numerous treatments have been suggested for the novel COVID-19 disease, with only remdesivir recently showing some potential efficacy prior to its approval on May 1, 2020 [1]. The efficacy of other therapies, such as hydroxychloroquine, chloroquine, and azithromycin, remains unproven
The success wasn't "unproven". Are they calling all the doctors reporting to the world (as they should) that they're having great success with hydroxychloroquine all lies? That's typical of any libtard. (they weren't only called liars, but they were also deplatformed, their accounts got deleted from Twitter, FB, IG and whatever else they were on. Is that how we should be putting our heads together as a world to find a cure for a global pandemic?).

You are mental boomed.
When they have nothing intelligent left to back up their false claims and conspiracy theories, we can always count on these libtards for their personal mental attacks (just like "orange man bad" while not offering any evidence why they're comparing him with hitler).
I feel bad for people like this, bc these next 4 years are gonna be atrocious for them, especially when the meat and potatoes starts getting disclosed.

You didn't read the date on the page and then you got aggressively wrong. Its pointless to point out your mistakes because you don't internalize them.
The drugs been used SAFELY for decades. Why all of a sudden did it became so dangerous?
As with most drugs, there's a risk/reward factor. Hydroxychloroquine has been mainly used for malaria prevention - it kills the parasite that causes malaria and "calms" in immune system. But it can have some pretty serious, and well known, side effects. When it is first given the patient is monitored and if there are any problems a different drug is used. No reputable study has shown much if any benefit for covid. The risk isn't worth the reward.
But hey, you could always use ivermectin.
fyp
I agree totally , even more so with an experimental biotechnology shot.
Every drug has side effects, the dangers of hydroxychloroquine were exaggerated.
That's what my doctor prescribed for my covid, even though I had to get it through mail order.
The crazy thing is how the libs were screaming "there aren't any studies showing Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine help cure covid", even after these drugs have been around forever, but when a vax gets rolled out, why all of a sudden didn't they ask for any studies showing it was safe? Isn't that selective discrimination?

Leeching has been around for forever but it doesn't make it effective at treating covid
Anyone here from Florida?
Bizarre case of a teen, Collin Griffith, who shot his dad and claimed self defence, and was arrested but not charged. A year later he's up on trial for kidnapping and murdering his mother and gets acquitted.

Shirt tucked in but no belt? Guilty.
No question in my mind. Only a psychopath walks out in public like that.
Are there any agencies left that are free of corruption?
- No tax on tips
- No tax on overtime
- No tax on senior social security
- Renew 2017 Middle Class tax cuts
- Tax cuts for American Made products
Clintons cleaning up...
Wondering how the deficit will go down ….
Good for bitcoin .
so things like dei don't solve the problem - when harvard lowers standards for blacks, it's the son of a black dentist that would have otherwise gone to Duke on his own merits which gets in - no welfare babies from compton are uplifted out of poverty through the process - and if they are - they were a certain lock to have already found their way out in the first place
if we did dei to help those born under bad circumstances regardless of race then it's a program that i could possibly get onboard
It doesn't need to do the things you're noting right out of the gate--you gotta start laying some solid foundations to build on dude. At least in part it's about building some overall inroads for groups that were sidelined/blocked out etc. Opening those doors more and more will hopefully lead to building on it from there by establishing more of a networking foothold etc.(imo). The woman's pay issue is somewhat tangential.
How is it productive to just sit and try to shoot down ideas? Offer up some viable options. The let nature take its course/do nothing thing is just too wide open to be abused by the already well-established power structures--which is exactly why they want to go backwards.
With DEI, open up the training application process to get more candidates into "Controller School"
Then
Hire the best skilled
/easy game
You obviously spend too little time on social media. DEI just means lowered standards.
Just look to the Trump administration. No DEI, and immediately the hallways were filled with qualified candidates. Some of them have their qualifications pretty much oozing out of their pores.
The oldest member of DOGE resigned because he advocated for eugenics lmao

He resigned because he was caught being a racist advocating for eugenics.
With Musk's history of amplifying such beliefs as an influencer, the obvious question now is whether Marko Elez's ideology was part of why he was hired in the first place.
That would seem like a logical progression to make to anyone with a cursory knowledge of Musks last few years on twitter
