In the current news climate we see that some figures and events tend to dominate the front-pages heavily. Still, there are important, interesting or just plain weird things happening out there and a group of people can find these better than one.
I thought I would test with a thread for linking general news articles about "other news" and discussion. Perhaps it goes into the abyss that is page 2 and beyond, but it is worth a try.
Some guidelines:
- Try to find the "clean link", so that links to the news site directly and not a social media site. Avoid "amp-links" (google).
- Write some cliff notes on what it is about, especially if it is a video.
- It's not an excuse to make outlandish claims via proxy or link extremist content.
- If it's an editorial or opinion piece, it is polite to mark it as such.
- Note the language if it is not in English.
- There is no demand that such things be posted here, if you think a piece merits its own thread, then make one.

I am not defending eugenics whatever that might mean for the 20y old who mentioned that, or for cordie.
I am defending the possibility for others to talk about that and not be considered bad people if they do.

And are claiming that uttering that word , given the threat of violence, is disqualifying for public employment.
How can I counter this very real, very present political issue if I am not allowed to talk about eugenics as a topic?
Keep in mind the topic will become more common and more public now after this, violently so, because the right isn't the losing side anymore, social media isn't controlled by the left anymore, so this time it is actually different.

The military operates outside of the public domain and can scoop anyone up at any time if they have evidence of treason, which is what selling out the country you swore to protect is. There's also a "gitmo" in Guam and other places since there's no more room at the inn.

For a guy that doesn’t want to talk about eugenics, he sure has made his point over his last few points that he support eugenics, his affirmation of eugenic principles and requests to not demonize people who want to discuss eugenics. Kelhus would be proud.
