2. Racist posts and other bigoted statements that target a particular group or individuals of such groups with derogatory comments are not allowed. This should not need further explanation.
3. Graphic Images need to be in spoilers with a trigger warning.
4. Wishing Harm on other posters will result in an immediate timeout.
5. Genocidal statements such as "Kill 'em all" etc, are no longer permissible in the thread.
If anyone has any questions about the above, please PM me. I don't want a discussion about the rules to derail the content of this thread. If anything needs clarifying, I will do that in this thread.

He's got about the same odds as Biden. Maybe less bc his brazen buffoonery has at least caused the Arab states to ostensibly show support for Palestine.

Wouldn’t bet against the US helping displace 2 million Palestinians and then somehow a year from now agreeing to “give” it to Israel.
That or Trump adds it to his portfolio and calls it “Trump Gaza Condominiums”.
Seems like a fun area for Americans to vacay.

People are making removing the Gazans a bad thing. They can't be refugees forever. The area they live in is currently unlivable. Moving to a more sanitary safe place seems like a significant upgrade.
I don't think Americans will want to vacation in Gaza. Maybe some people would like to go see the ruins. I think it will be mostly Israelis visiting there.
This place could have been a beautiful vacation destination years ago. Unfortunately the Gazans invested in terror instead of tourism.

I think it will actually cause the opposite. The entire third world will side with Hamas and do everything in their power to keep them in charge of Gaza and keep all the Palestinians in.
Pretty much worst case scenario for Palestinians. Very minimal investment and rebuilding will happen. And no meaningful reform of their society or move towards peace.
And because they are defying the big bad orange man the Palestinian people will actually be happy and content to live in tents and ride donkeys and curse the US and Israel and celebrate their great victory.
If one was inclined to conspiracies they might wonder if that was the goal.
Convince the Palestinians, and the rest of the Ummah and progressive left, they won and to be happy they get to stay in their destroyed hopeless city.

Gazans should not be part of a rebuild. We don't need 80 more years of refugee status. We don't need more terrorism. The US is taking Gaza and will facilitate the rebuild. This nonsense has gone on long enough. It's time to give the Gazan children a chance to grow up in a normal environment. It's time for the Israelis to finally live in piece.

This is happening. The biggest problem will be getting people to invest in the rebuild. It's gonna take a long time to demolish what is left and remove the remaining terrorists from the tunnels. This is the big reason why the Gazans need to evacuate the area. Things could be expedited if Hamas doesn't return all hostages by Saturday midnight.
In other news, Hamas was already supposed to release the Russian hostage they have to Russia. But after the bad PR response to the poor condition of the last 3 Isreali hostages, they are stalling; presumably to give him food and medical care so his condition improves before he is released to the world.
This was a huge error by Hamas. Seeing this as well as the horrific Oct 7th footage has lead to Trump taking over Gaza. I have no idea what Biden was doing on his watch. This is absolutely disturbing the mess Trump is now having to clean up.

They will never live in peace. I was very sympathetic to the Israeli's. Then I saw what they did in the West bank. This is a people with a never ending victim complex who will always find some piece of land to fight over.

This is all cope. Hamas only real leverage is liberal tears and Arab oil. With a couple thousand troops Israel could go in, frog march everyone out of the city to refugee camps in the desert, siege anyone who stayed behind until they surrendered or died of hunger/thirst, and that would be that. No more Hamas.
Hamas's survival is owed completely to outside powers restraining Israel on their behalf, on top of the compassion of Israelis, and nothing to do with them having any power themselves.
There entire city state was destroyed under their watch in less than a year while they were hiding in tunnels. And most of their allies who joined the fight with them also took massive L's.
