Donald J. Trump (For everyone else except Victor)

I assume it's still acceptable to have a Trump thread in a Politics forum?

So this is an obvious lie - basically aimed at

Somebody tell me this isn't real.

I agree that it is not fair to single out biden for today's inflation.

The blame for today's inflation should be on nearly every single dem politician and even a handful of repubs that fought their asses off to close as much of the economy as they could for as long as they could, print as much money as the gov't did and hand out as much money as they could.

Keeping gov't spending (as a % of GDP) at rates usually reserved for world wars and deep recessions since covid is also completely unacceptable for many reasons but the real reason we have covid is because of gov't policy after covid.

The AP says it was blocked from the Oval Office over continuing to use “Gulf of Mexico”

First step to throttling a free press, it looks like to me.

Or maybe AP could lead a media boycott of the Oval Office. Be quite funny if he tried to hold a press conference and nobody came except possibly Fox. He's hardly going to get the First Amendment struck down.

Should be Rubio

um no, the first one already left. No one knows who it is?

The blame for today's inflation

Literally get a grip.

Corruption in government runs deep.

The judge who ordered Trump to restore USAID funding is married to someone who was a direct beneficiary of the USAID funding.

If we're going to eliminate coins, we should just eliminate all coins. Round to the nearest dollar.

Instant jump from the $1.25 Store to the $2 Store. They might be able to hire a whole second employee to run each one.

some policy talk at last from congress.

republicans are trying to cut 230 billions in food stamp in 10 years. as expected a few gop house members in very purple districts object to that.

According to you guys, it would go to $1 since that's the nearest dollar.

Trump getting more popular by the day.

Why is there a 400 million dollar line item for armored teslas in the state department budget?

Why is there a 400 million dollar line item for armored teslas in the state department budget?

Because Trump is the most corrupt POTUS ever, and it is not close.

It's future procurement (notice the FY25) of armored vehicles for... The state department.

So I suppose they want armored vehicles, and ofc they are going to buy American, not sure what the other options are but afaik the cybertruck is off the charts in security compared with other cars isn't it?

So it wouldn't be surprising if it's cybertrucks for the state department.

What's the purported objection there? Ofc everytime it's even vaguely close among options all public procurement contracts will go to rightwing companies and entrepreneurs with a rightwing administration, that's the main reason companies donate to parties, I hope that isn't what is trigger you.

Is this real? "All other miscellaneous food manufacturing"?

Graft? Trolling? Not real?

Musk said there was no conflict on DoD contracts because that was just other people at SpaceX. I guess this is just other people at Tesla.

How? Firing squads? Guantanamo?

I think PB's ilk would prefer concentration camps

Tesla doesn't make armored vehicles

There isn't an alternate reality where I would care about this. Only in this reality, where Musk is supposedly overseeing fraud and waste yet is receiving material contracts for things his company doesn't produce

by coordi k

Tesla doesn't make armored vehicles

it kinda does (cyber truck as mentioned)

4.5 trillion in Tax cuts over 10 years (wat)
Gut healthcare
Gut education
Gut agriculture subsidy
Gut infrastructure
Spend more on defense
Spend more on homeland security

You will, quite literally, agree with every thing that Trump decides to do. Its especially funny coming from people who say Democrats never had a bad thing to say about Biden.

You are a parody of a clown show.

The US government's FY25 started on Oct 1, 2024. We are almost five months into it.

ETA: Of course I'm pretty sure the budget hasn't been passed yet and they are operating by continuing resolution. Like always.

400 milly for some kinda armored vehicles sounds like a deal to me

agriculture is food stamps actually that for weird reasons fall under the department of agriculture.

infrastructure doesn't see cuts overall as per your link.

it's medicaid, Doe defunded/canceled, food stamps reduced massively, foreign aid gutted, all DEI and other related leftist crap canceled.

less welfare foreign and domestic, finally a right-wing program for once

As proposed, 80% of Trumps voting base gets absolutely eviscerated, as predicted.

This does nothing for the economy, helps nobody struggling, and massively reduces taxation of the rich
