Ya, the card catcher I believe uses less than 5mb's of ram, so it's not resource intensive at all.

Set the same directory in the ignition site settings.

Randomly woke up today to ICC not recognizing anything after working just fine all summer. Any thoughts?

Try rebooting your PC or reinstall the ignition client.

Yeah, rebooting usually fix the issue. especially if something updated in your system while having the card catcher open.
