Back at the vet. Unfortunately another tumor, this time on his leg and this time it’s cancer. No spread to spleen or liver so vet thinks it’s low-grade but won’t know unit they cut it off on Monday.
Ended up cutting off 2 tumors. One on his rear right light near his tail, and one on his neck. Recovering well.
Bad new is, both tumors had been there a decent amount of time. Good news is, no spread detected to spleen/liver means likely non-aggressive type. Which hopefully means no more treatment. Get the path report in a week or so.

In my house, when they pull cells from your spleen and liver, you come home to a big ass cheeseburger.
Both tumors low-grade with good margins, so hopefully that's it.
Will meet with an oncologist about potential medication to prevent recurrence. He's over 10 years old so the end is coming eventually, but he's otherwise in great shape so will hopefully have a few good years left.
