It seems like there's a lot of conflict and unhappiness in the world these days. It gets me down. One of the few things
does it so happen the other non-whining coffee tinted (ten cent?) hound somehow responds in time to Purley Baker as if not making friends easily?
had to give no what or for ifs before posting all that

He does. He knows signs for sit, stay, out, no, eat, and down. He wears a training collar with vibration for recall when not line of site, and mild zap if I really have to reinforce "no" (very rare). When we're working in the yard he "checks in" on me every few minutes. He resects the invisible fence line (usually without that collar even on) better than the hearing dogs. His ba
have posted about my sis in laws deaf dog a few times before.
Yuki responds to pretty much all the commands you list above, even from someone close to stranger she only sees a few times a year, and i'm not aware of her wearing a vibe collar at the farm but she very well could when at home back in town with no place to safely run
Niko got to see the rest of her pack at the inlaws farm for two days and didn't take a single dog pic (tried but quit when too late on a couple, still have the image filed in my mind)she only really gets to play with her deaf white terrier cousin because the inlaws old brown rescue potato just wanting to sleep in sun puddles is tired of being barked at and the huffing big black
in many ways they are a perfect playing pair together as long as the elders of any species are not involved
Niko still does not understand how her shrill barks get no response but grandpas farts will make her start from deep slumber
here's a pic of the two of them together not taken by me

2/18/71, one of MrsSaint's back in the day favorite tapes. A watershed show not only for the large number of debut breakouts but also as Mickey Hart's final performance before his extended sabbatical which, with no critique of Hart intended, opened the door for the solo drum kit Dead lineup that was often a seemingly runaway freight train capable of turning on a dime.

Delilah, R.I.P., gave it four out of five avocados.
Really lovin the direction this thread has taken ♥♥♥
why wouldn't it be?
A couple of recent pix of Oliver, the outdoor cat, now 18 years young. He seems to be half-blind, half-deaf, and half-nose-blind, but he recently had a squirrel for lunch, so I guess he's still got something working in his favor. Maybe he just has me on ignore. His grooming isn't what it used to be as he still has much of his winter outfit on.

what a life
Thanks!
Oliver's had it pretty good, too!
LOL!
I gotta say one of the advantages of preferring the Beagles over the Stones back when that was a thing is that you didn't have to keep up with 60 more years of their music. The downside is that you missed a lot of good music. That is one of the songs I missed. Thanks for the schoolin'!
